Service Description
Day 1 is a great day! You will be introduced to the larger capacity bikes at your own pace. We will be riding in the Yorkshire Dales or Lake District. Its all about saddle time and feeling at ease with the bike. Day 2 is preparation for the test which will take place on our training pad where we look to emulate the test environment so come test day you are well versed in the process. After day 2 you will be familiar with the MOD 1 test and your ability. Day 3 - We usually ride to the DVSA approved test centre. Dependent upon weather and in consultation with the trainee. You’ll take the module 1 test in an off-road motorcycle maneuvering area, overseen by the DVSA examiner. The test normally takes about 20 minutes and includes: Wheeling the moped or motorcycle and using the stand Riding slalom Figure of 8 Slow ride U-turn Cornering and a controlled stop Cornering and an emergency stop ornering and hazard avoidance For the hazard avoidance and emergency stop exercises you must ride at a minimum speed of: 19 mph on a moped 31 mph on a motorcycle
Cancellation Policy
Trainees must be on site for ready to train for 0830hrs. Delays in arrival effects the days scheduling, compromises other trainees learning and can be difficult to accommodate. As a result of this deposit is non refundable. Trainees must wear sturdy boots, secured with laces (not trainer boots). Walking boots will be fine. A strong pair of jeans without holes and rips are the minimum acceptable trousers. This is for the safety of the student and cannot be compromised.
